Katia Picada

A Club Member since 2018

Katia Picada is an amateur photographer whose inspiration came from her Father, a dedicated doctor who made beautiful family photos. Katia enjoys making photos using nature as the main subject.  She sees photography as a way to share nature's beauty and, perhaps, inspire others to take good care of the beautiful planet we all live on.

Welcome to the Toronto Camera Club Website

Founded in 1888, the Toronto Camera Club is the oldest camera club in Canada, and among the first in North America. We are now in our 136th Season (2023-2024)! We are a member of The Ontario Council of Camera Clubs (OCCC), associated with The Photographic Society of America (PSA) and a patron of the Canadian Association of Photographic Arts (CAPA). Please review our Vision and Mission Statements.

We have a broad Program that includes meetings that are held every Monday evening from September to May; Our Talking Photography Lecture Series events are held Thursdays from mid-October to the end of March. Our Club activities include weekly competitions, social events, workshops and much more! To foster appreciation and understanding of the diversity of photography, and passion for practicing the art.

Mission

To enable photographers from different backgrounds and skill levels to develop their interests and abilities, through shared learning in a social environment.

For the best value, join the Club at the beginning of the season, which is in September.
